Paper Money Circulation Finds

Now I am back in the USofA, changed money at my bank and got these yesterday:



The second note down would have been worth a decent amount over face, notice the lowish serial number and the star from a scarce district no less - but somebody tore the note and taped it - and the tape is new - scotch tape.   

At another bank I got an EF-AU Series 1963-A red seal $2, but I already put that one away before I got a chance to image it.

Interesting.  If I was just starting to collect, and had the funds, I would definitely collect notes.
