I love nature and wildlife coins, especially in silver, but have found most mints now charge way too much to keep up with their releases. I have some absolutely beautiful Canadian commemoratives that have really gone up in value compared to what they cost me but who wants to part with coins you just couldn't wait to get your hands on? Kind of a catch 22 if you ask me! I have bears, moose, deer, beaver, loons, koala's, pandas and buffalo I just can't part with!!! Grin Mongolia released a high relief Wolverine in 2006 (I believe) that was absolutely stunning. I wanted it so badly but passed----Now I can't afford to pay what they are bringing!!! Cry

Terry, do you have the 1967 Canadian P L (proof like) set? It's an 80% silver set depicting: $1 - Goose / 50c - Wolf / 25c - Wildcat (Bobcat) / 10c - Mackerel (fish) / 5c - Rabbit / 1c - Rock Dove. Now this is a neat wildlife set and the silver content of the set is 1.12 ozs.

If I remember correctly I have some 1967 Canadian coins but don't have the proof like set. I also have the Canadian "Birds of Prey" set in silver but can't remember the year they were issued. There are soooooooo many beautiful world wide coins that having nothing to do with politics, religion and government that I wish I owned as they represent REAL things in our lives that mankind just does not have complete control over. So many coins, so little time! Grin

I am happy that everybody like this coin.  Cheesy This coin cost 30€ and of course it is not obtainable for me. But I am like that Slovakia have nice coin and I could show it some memebers of castle. Smiley Smiley Smiley
I like too coins with bird ,animal or flower motives. I think that Australia have beautiful coloured coins with panda and shark and fish "NEMO".
