A 2010 Australian silver Koala is now a permanent member of my Aussie collection here in Indiana. The one ounce bullion coin arrived yesterday from a U.S. dealer. Now I can focus my attention on it's little sister the half ounce Koala. For some odd reason the half ounce coins of the world really interest me. Guess its because there aren't too many of them produced. I do love my half ounce Canadian Wolf which was produced for one year only (2006) by Canada. My wife and I have a small pack of them but now wish we had bought more. One thing is for certain SILVER is riding on the back of gold and not going to get any cheaper any time soon!

This is true. I love to come home from work and see what gold and silver closed at for the day. It's been pretty crazy the last couple of weeks with gold and silver.  Smiley

Pretty soon we are going to see 50$ days on gold
Phase two of recognition has started
We will have to learn to count in ounces instead of paper money
Two ounces is allways double of one ounce

I am having trouble comprehending such a mathematical equation! Could you please send me two ounces so I can see and feel the differences! Consider it an educational experience on both our parts! Teacher to student!!! Grin

The Perth Mint site is down at the moment, so can't check. Didn't see them last time I looked a week or so ago ..... only the 1 oz ones.

Thursday I bought a bagfull with chocolate inside for such requests . Grin
I am afraid though they will not survive postal treatment  Cheesy
It must have been 30-40 years since I saw chocolate gold ; but then again these are made in germany and with Weimar in the race memory they seem not to believe in paper .
