Wow, that is one awesome bimetallic/unusual shaped coin.  It'd fit in numerous sorts of collections. Good find!

By which you mean, the "country" that issued them isn't "real", in the sense of being internationally recognised or even formally proclaimed.

This coin is listed in the Krause "Unusual World Coins" book (as KMX# 13), rather than the mainstream Krauses, so in that sense they are recognised by Krause as being unofficial coins.

I understand that these coins (and the "banknotes" in the name of Kurdistan) were made by a Kurdish lobby group in the United States. I doubt that anybody actually in Kurdistan knows they exist.
