 Shocked Grin

A very very lucky and fortunate purchase, I was out of town when this one came in Thursday, but was back first thing Friday morn and brought her home with me.  She likes her new Harem, but my 1794 Cent is a bit bent now.  Jealousy amongst females again.

Just think how interesting it would be to know every hand or collection this coin passed through in its life. They claim the average collectable coin will be out of circulation 40 years each time it passes hands. If this is indeed true then few people have actually held the specimen now in your possession. Makes you a pretty lucky individual doesn't it. Thanks for the photo and the memories it has stirred as all my old large cents were sold years ago (stupid move on my part) but I still have a love for all the old classics and do regret ever parting with any of them.

I haven't bought a Large Cent since the 1794 I bought back in 1993 Shocked  I collected quite a few of them when I was a kid and more or less interests subsided, the 1794 I bought when I sold my first house for a long time it was my most expensive purchase.  Now this 1795 is my second most expensive purchase.

I own two large cents, one of which I purchased from Twoshadows.

Both are pretty low condition, but I don't mind.  Just nice having them.
