Earliest notes I have gotten are several 1934 dated notes over the past few years, mostly in the last year or so with people starting to spend older stuff. 1928 is a better find, notice the gold clause on it. (http://scottishmoney.net/banknotes/usa/scan0003.jpg) The second note down would have been worth a decent amount over face, notice the lowish serial number and the star from a scarce district no less - but somebody tore the note and taped it - and the tape is new - scotch tape. >:( At another bank I got an EF-AU Series 1963-A red seal $2, but I already put that one away before I got a chance to image it.
