Argh I am lost
I found a site with 4800 dragonslayer pics
Can you believe this one by Xaing

That looks like Geithner going in to slay the recession.  Grin

I am a Sci Fi fan
I don't know what strip serie if any this dragonslayer is from ; but I kept the pic around for a few years now

Technically, in my design she isn't a "dragonslayer", but rather a friend of the dragon.

PS: That's not a dragon.   That's a serpent.   Don't you know the difference Wink

This is embarassing .You are absolutely right .Apart from the Dragonslayer there seems to be a seareptile in the drawing
I never noticed anything apart from the warrior before  Tongue

I like the armor.  And the bangos can still jiggle and bobble enough to distract her opponent. But contained enough so they won't be flopping around like mud skippers when wields a sword--a historical image that I'm really having trouble visualizing.

You know she kind a looks like a distant relative of Hillary?  Maybe that serpent is a symbolic bobbit job?   Grin

In the right  theme bare breasts are fine. They look great on  Mexican Libertads.  Grin  But why would a  knight/knightress ride into a battle with an exposed chest?

The Amazons allegedly cut off a breast to be better at archery.

That's taking "Be all that you can be" to extremes.  I think there's a statue or painting of Diana the Huntress with a bow and bare breasts. It still doesn't make sense to me though for a knight male or female not to have their chests protected.

I have been reading "comic" books about knights etc all my life
Belgium had two famous stripdesigners
My subconscious is probably qualibrated on those designers
I don't know this guy but his female knight is very convincing  Grin

Ooooh Battle ax.  That works! No one is going to tell her to go bake some cookies.  Grin

If we're going to have another Knightress how about one with a sword? I have a hard time picturing a Knight/Knightress without a sword or armor, even it's just light armor.

I'm confirming mine: one silver satin and one copper satin.

One satin silver and one antique copper.

I've been to a total of two coin shows.

One was the ANA Convention in Denver, and the other was one I just stumbled across in Pueblo (CO).

Just found out there will be a big show in Grand Junction (CO) tomorrow at The Mariott.  I will be in GJ to cover high school baseball, so will put in an appearance.  Doubtful that I'll buy anything, but if I see coins the grandkids might like, I'll probably make a purchase.

At least I'll have the opportunity to look at coins, and wish I was wealthy.

You never win any of those Internet Lotteries?  I might go to a show tomorrow but haven't really made up my mind yet on it. I went to one of our local shows about five years ago and I swear I saw stuff there that was there from the previous year. I can only go to these when I'm on vacation and Sunday will be my last day. I'm not sure whether it will be worth it.

What's up with that line Richard--failing collar?

Beautiful die cracks on the reverse!! I couldn't say what the grade should be. It's  MS- something but I  don't know how much if anything they take off for the verdigris on the obverse.

I love die cracks on coins.  Cool

I've been trying for five years to find a  Vietnam slot token issued by the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (Black Horse) VN580a-e  VN590a-c

I'd rather see a living dragon than one that's been killed. As long as I don't have to look at any  Squids singing a song about it.  Roll Eyes

"Mac the magic destroyer lived in the sea,
and frolicked in the autumn mist in a place
called the #$@&ing  Med..."

Why not over strike JFK halves for one of the next medals? It would do away with planchet episodes which may only get worse with rising silver prices and limited planchet producers. Personally, half dollar size coins are my favorite.

Got a 1941 Canadian cent in change yesterday; which was strange enough. But then last week I got a 1961 Red Unc Canadian cent as a complimentary piece from an exonumia dealer after I bought an encased Alaska quarter.

I think it's some kind of advertising token.
