I got three of the NM quarters in change in a Qdoba last month sometime, I posted here that someone could have them for the taking, since I am not a SQ fan.  But alas nobody came forward and I spent them thus.

Lol. I'll find them eventually. Finding them in change is half the fun!

Here's an interesting one.

Discovered in my pocket.  May have come from WalMart.

Italy, Quarter size.  50 Lira  1964  AU.

Not sure who or what is depicted on the obverse.

Reverse has a scantily clad gentleman banging away, forging something made of medal.

Same design, different year.
Scantily clad? I would say naked!
He needs to watch what he is hammering there, could be painful otherwise. LOL

Great find.

If I had made the same find, I couldn't have afforded to keep it!!

In recent years I have started paying attention to series numbers and serial numbers, and have found a few small denomination notes I have added to my collection.

My wife is already plotting ways to spend it whence the notes are sold.

The same with me. So I check with other collectors close to home to see if they want them. It has to be quick turn around other wise it is back to the bank.
With 4 kids there is not alot of spare cash around.
