I would appreciate one of you Aussies getting me some info on the 2008 1/2 ounce silver Koala's. I need to know when they will be released and the cost. For some reason or another I am attracted to 1/2 ounce bullion and all I can figure is there are not many countries striking them. Canada did the wolf last year and then halted the very successful program thus making a one year issue and creating demand. I have the square kookaburras from all 4 years and actually only need one more for to complete a second set! Oh yeah, I am attracted to square coins too! You might consider the HUGE sacrifice I had to make to put the 2006 Poland SQUARE Knight coin in the Pet Set Excaliber!!!
I am willing to work out a trade deal for the 1/2 ouncers if anyone way down there needs something from way up here!

They made the square kookaburra four years? I only got one of them. I know that I am going to a large coin show in December, in Houston. I was planning on picking up the 1 oz '08 Koala there, I can see if they have the 1/2 oz if you don't get a better response before then.

Yup, 4 years on the square kookaburra!!! Aprreciate your offer but really think the koalas will already be living in Indiana before December. At least thats my plans as the full ounce should be here within the next week or so!

Arrangements have been made for the 2008 silver ounce and half ounce Koala's to live in Indiana!!!! The 2008 design is much better than the first year of issue and, if Australia plays their card's right, they might just give the Panda a run for their money?

Hope you do not have any trouble with Customs and Quarantine.
I thought the import of Koala's was illegal.

Dustin, importing live, flesh and blood Koalas probably is illegal. However, the silver variety are quite safe. I think bm1947 was being funny.

I am just a little stunned because NO Aussie has posted a picture of the 2008 Koala's as of yet? You guys slippin or what? The Australian government is counting on you to help stimulate the economy aren't they? Remember you are Aussie Ambassadors of the Darkside!!!

Looks like to me that coin would have TWOSHADOWS and that is exactly like putting my name on them! Really looking forward to adding them to my .........? Hey what is a group of koalas called any way? A herd of koalas doesn't sound right (well it might pass in Indiana)! A Mob of Koalas or a covey of Koalas? Nothing seems to fit?
