Are any other Aussies collecting Lincoln cents?

I have a pile of spares, if anyone is in need of any.

Let me know.

I sure am. Will have to check & see what I need though. Guess I better check what spares I have as well so we can do a trade & that way we both win.  Cheesy

Hi Steve

The spares I have are:

Philadelphia - 1925, 1944, 1982, 1984, 1986
Denver  - 1950, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1964, 1969, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2005
San Francisco - 1942, 1953, 1970,

It looks as though there's only 1 coin I have that you need.  1986P

I still need the following:

Philadelphia - 1911-12, 1914-15, 1921-24, 1932, 1955-63, 1965, 1967-69, 1972-74, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1985, 1987, 1989-2007
Denver  - 1911-16, 1918-20, 1922, 1924-25, 1927-29, 1931-39, 1955-62, 1965-68, 1970-71, 1973-74, 1983, 1991-92, 1994, 1996, 2003-04, 2006-07
San Francisco – 1909-1918, 1920-36, 1939, 1954-1968, 1974 -2007

What else are you after?  I must have something I can offer for trade. I s'pose we need to wait & see how many you have that I need.

It'd be a bit weird if you only have 1 for me as well. Grin

I realise there's some years in there when there weren't any minted at one or other of the mints, it was easier for me to just list the block of years.

I may be of some help to both of you.  In a few days I plan on sorting coins in my BIG storage case.

I'll keep your lists handy in case I run across any Lincolns you need.

Oohh Aahh. That's a nice haul.  Now, what can I send you that will bring a smile to your dial?  Grin Grin

Tell me what other coins/sets you are collecting so I can see if I have any goodies for you. Any gaps in the sets?

Nancy,

You do not need to send anything in return. I am just happy to be able to help you, as you helped me recently.

Making you happy will put a smile on dial. Smiley

Nancy, I sent your Lincolns and Kennedys today. I also sent a couple of surprises, I hope you will find use for them, but if not you can send them on to someone else.

As I said elsewhere, your envelope is on the way. All I will say is that it contains more than 1 coin.  Grin  Wink  Grin  Wink   Grin

I've been having problems with A Post though, I posted a letter to Victoria Monday, it was delivered to ME Tuesday, I posted it again Wed & it was delivered to ME again Thursday.  It will get posted again today, but not till I've taken it to my local PO & find out what the heck is going on. It's got a tiny little return address sticker on the back & that's what they're choosing as the delivery address.  Huh Huh Huh  I'm completely gob smacked.

It's the first time I've had any problems like this, and I've been using these particular stickers for quite a while now. I had a roll of stickers that I used for years, no probs.  Hopefully I'll get an explanation that makes sense, but somehow I doubt it.  Undecided

I just hope that none of my other letters suffer the same fate.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Hey, Nancy.

Those coins arrived today. Thank you so much. Smiley

As well as the Lincoln cent, I received some thr'pences, sixpences and shillings.

I really appreciate that, thank you.

Best wishes
