A single olympic wheelchair curling mule just went for almost $650 on ebay today. That's more than double the price that the sets were going for. Am I missing something with this one? I presume it would have been taken out of a set.

Geeze - 922 countries, are there?  ..... that means I only have about 890 notes, and 915 coins to go!

Mmmm - my decision to pass on this mule set (wheel chair curling mule) didn't last long - I went ahead and purchased one from ebay. OUCH!

Scottish Money (and others who have posted pics of World paper notes) - you've all given me another 'bug'. I've now got to spread out from my polymer collection and go in search for some of those World Paper money issues!

Scottishmoney - I have a few spare 10 shilling notes and some spare paper decimals. Do you want a list of what I have spare? Would be more than happy to trade with any other world notes.

Seems our 07 $20 polymer with new signatures has finally arrived - at least on ebay, anyway. Will post link when I can find it again.

Some sellers are now selling by the box (25). Does anyone know what the original issue price of these coins were?

You are right about the price of the 'mule sets' - think I'll have to give that one a miss as well. (especially when shipping costs have been quoted as C$45)

One ebay seller had the mintage listed as 30,000 for the Alpine skiing 'mule'. Would that be the total number of the Alpine skiing coins issued in this series?

Is anyone aware of the number of SE sets issued that contain the wheelchair curling mule?

Ouch! I was thinking once I'd caught up on the State quarters, I'd start on the American Eagles. Was going to settle for Unc set, but after seeing your pic, Dumanyu, I think I want proofs. Unfortunately, seeing as I'd be starting from scratch, don't like my chances though.

Coin Crusader, Will you be starting from scratch, or do you already have some to get started with?

Hey, come on Coin Crusader, it doesn't have to be that bad - My last count to include $1 coins to the end of 2007 is 108. (That includes the 6 coloured Ocean series coins).

It doesn't include varieties but does include one of each MM $1 except for the mobile press coins from 2002.

I took all my Commonwealth games 50c out of their plastic capsules which in turn are housed in the card.  I put them all in 2x2s.  The cards I stacked side by side in a seperate box. I did the same with plastic capsules (although they don't stack well  ).

I haven't tried it with the 50 cent coins yet, but I've just started putting together a $1 album for my nephew. I have my collection in a Dansco album, so had to take the coins out of the capsule, but for my nephew's album, I'm using the 2x2s. With the $1 coins that have come in capsules, I have been removing the clear film from the 2x2 and just popping the capsule in. It does make the pages a little more bulky, but so far, seems to be working well. ............ Just tried it with the 50 cent capsules ...... a tight fit, but it works.

I have a few MM dollars and other (non-circulating) issues that I've found in circulation - if anyone is interested in any, let me know what you are after and I'll check through what I have.

Just received mine yesterday (the 1oz version) - especially love the 2008 one.
