The other side has no old king or queen but the white and red dragon still in eternal battle for victory
The white dragon is symbol for England and the red Dragon is symbol for Wales
If somebody offers this for 20 euro go and take it and call the police

I had the flu for a week so I am slowly working my way through the coins
Do not bother to look up this set in Krause cause Krause does not know it exists neither did Krause now the previous set I posted existed
When it comes to collecting special coins Krause gold coins of the World does not seem to know the world outside the US may have much intrest
Their completeness is out of this world .

The certificate of the coin says Liberty is gazing towards the Horizon for possible dangers;  ready to defend  Grin
I am willing to believe that . No serene walking Liberty or 50 pesos angel like Liberty but a ferocious Liberty the way Liberty should be

De sur de la frontera, porque yo quiero este por muchos tiempos:

These things are hard to find, the Mexican government taxed the bejeebers out of them so not a lot of them leave Mexico.  Also nice to fine Mexican gold without the ubiquitous copper spotting that is prevalent on a lot of the older gold.

Oh and if you talk about red spots on gold then a german university has proven it is oxydized silver contamination on  the blanks and the problem is more current the last 10 years then before because
the same patterns are made in silver and gold contaminating the gold on a bad product changeover

Germany exchanged several of their goldcoins which had red spots
The blanks came from Austria

Actually the spotting was more on the Mexican 50 Pesos coins, especially the 1947 dated restrikes.  I don't have any of the 20$00 coins, only the 10$00 and those are very early dates, like 1906 or something - I wanted non restrike coins.  With the onzas, they are a PITA to find in the USA - have to be like finding the Fortuna bars there in Europe. The onzas and Libertads are wonderful coins, nice, large, and have that feminine design element that is all so important.

Mexican coins are abundant over here but Fortuna one ounce bars I only saw two bars in 6-7 years and I bought one of the two . I do not understand this since they are made in Switzerland and only sold in the US

Now our Belgian custom people do not read the European Union Regulations but work with a shortlist of coins they will accept as taxfree and the US dollars are not on the list and neither are the Fortuna bars .
So I had a German get me an Ultra High Relief for me since their forum won the fight with DHL who wanted 15 euro for custom papers to prove the fact these were taxfree .

In summary ; in Belgium the customs sit in the postoffice of Brussels X and tax everything and the postmen collect the 18% tax and like 15 dollars for the service and everybody except the customer is happy
In Germany the carrier DHL has to declare and handle taxes and wants 15 euro for the service on top of any taxes

Once the product is in the European Union there are no longer custom problems
