Faustina II was daughter, wife and mother of emperors and empresses.
When she gave birth to the first of many childred she was given the titla os Augusta,
which for a time, made her superior in rank to her husband.
She was a devoted wife and mother, and accompanied her husband on all his
military campaigns.
