I bought a Netherlands coin this week dated in the 1700's. The coin was in Alaska of all places and is currently on its way to Indiana. For some odd reason I have a strong desire at this time to seek out 1600 and 1700 dated coins to add to my collection. And of course Knights were used on many European coins back then so I have a growing fever! The trick is to find a nice circulated specimen which will remain affordable if using Ebay. I bid on a half dozen this morning with no luck. You would think all those sellers could show some appreciation for me running up their bids for them? Wink
None the less I am continuing my quest for the oldies that I would very much like to add to my world collection! Will try and get a photo of the Netherlands coin posted when it does arrive.
