THe Fitzwilliam Museum is always worth a look. It is updated regularly. You should check it out from time to time. It contains magnificent examples of ancient coins and medals. Art too! (If your into that sort of thing

Thanks for the link, Yass ...... only had a quick browse so far, but will certainly be having a better look when I get home from work today.
Templar, it seems the actual museum is in Cambridge, but if you scroll down on the menu, you will find an on line resource centre which has a number of references to coins.
Hopefully this link will lead you there
