yes one of the real Louis d'or coins before the Latin Union
7.649 g x 0.917=7.014 g pure gold
I think the fractals were made in silver

Dang, where to start?  I've got lots of coins from the 1600s and 1700s- more than I think anyone here wants to see. I guess I'll pick out a few of my favourites, but nothing compares to that Siberian Typeset. >< I've been wanting a Siberian coin for a while now; but they're expensive in decent grades!


1/2 Reale, 1701 Carlos II. Potosi Mint. Posthumous Issue, as Carlos II died in 1700. Unlisted variety.


Sixpence, George II.  1758


5 kopeks, Catherine the Great.  1763. 


twopence, George III. 1797, my favourite handleable coin.
