I really dislike the Nazi stuff, but I believe by preserving it, we keep the horrible memories of what happened alive, so that it cannot be forgotten.
As a collector with an interest in attractive women or girls on banknotes, I had to have this particular note:
Austria had previously printed but not yet issued a 100 Schilling note in 1938 with a young Austrian woman holding an Edelweiss flower, this design impressed the powers that be in the Reichsbank enough that they selected the design for the 20 Reichsmark note issued the following year in 1939. This note circulated along side the 20 Reichsmarks note with Von Siemens on it P-181 up until 1948 when the Reichsmark was replaced with the Deutschmark.
While one may despise the maniacs that issued this note, it still is a beautiful note if you forget the two swastikas present on it. The Austrian Miss is very similar to Austria P-101, and in 1947 Austria issued another similar note.
