Bi-Centennial Quarter
«

This afternoon, while volunteering at the hospital gift shop, I will look through roughly 1,000 quarters. I have no doubt that I'll find a dozen or so 1976 Quarters, some in BU or Unc. condition.
Is there any reason whatsoever to hang on to these in the hope their value will go up anytime soon?
I have already removed six from circulation, and will give one each to our grandkids. Beyond that, is there any point to hanging on to them?
Opinions will be appreciated.
Thanks.

THE STATE QUARTER PROGRAM WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL FOR THE MINT AS THOUSANDS KEPT AT LEAST ONE SET OF EACH---AS FOR THE 1976 COINS--IN SUPER CONDITION--HAVE SOLD AT HIGHER PRICES BUT THE VOLUMN HAS KEPT THE PRICE DOWN--THE $2.00 NOTE THAT CAME OUT WITH THE BACK DIFFERENT THAN THE EARLIER BILLS HAS DONE BETTER IF THE CONDITION HAS BEEN KEPT UP---GET A WHOLE SET IF 1976 COINS--THE VALUE WILL BE BETTTER--GOODE LUCK

I only keep them to put in my nephew's piggy bank.
