I recently acquired this coin from Djluster in a trade and I was wondering what you could tell me about Liberty Dollars.
Are they legal tender? (not that you would want to spend it).

That's a US Statue of Liberty centennial commemorative, issued by the US Mint.

They made a Dollar and a Half Dollar both. And yes they do look real nice in real life.

One time, way back when, I had the complete set of BU and proof; half, dollar and five dollar gold, all in the cherrywood case.
