I posted the question on the forgeries forum

A good fake sometimes is worth a lot more then melt

I am allowed to give it back for melt I paid 10 days ago but
I don't know that is a good option
Keeping a good gold fake may be better
Any exchange agent will give me 95% of melt on a gold fake

What is the world coming to
1 ounce 100 mills silver plated crap with silver 0.999 in the description
Pure trap for those that do not know their vocabulary
And I think on ebay France that is 99.9 % of all people

My wife her birthday present from ebay just arrived from germany
Oh how pleasant buying on ebay can be
Now let's see the private insurance squeem

The vendor paid back the auction price 120 euro (presumably by way of the insurance )
but NOT the mail costs of 9.90 euro
What do I do ?
Give a negative nonetheless or try to squeeze the other 9.9. euro out of him ?
I am soooo convinced he packed it broken up to swindle the insurance since some of the glass splinters
were outside the bubble wraps . But I cannot accuse him because I have a witness but do not know
the possibilities of this breaking inside a double bubble wrap and then splinters getting outside the double bubble wrap ( but I feel it close to impossible )

I would explain that why should you pay the 9.9 euros for something you didn't get? Be persistant.

You are right of course
Once somebody shows me goodwill I get too soft .

But I seem to have read somewhere in the insurance policies of paypal or ebay or
the post that postage is not refunded

If the vendor were Belgian I could demand substitution by a perfect undamaged example
delivered to my doorstep ( that is the theory because with my totalled car it took me
3 years court to get what was mine )

I just gave an history lesson to a german ebayer in english

I paid 120 plus 9.90 euro for a broken Swarovski figurine
He paid me back 120 but not 9.90 postage
I told him so
Now he has the nerve to apply for ebay cancelation
I answered him the same that general said in the Ardennes during WWII

NUTS

He will understand that he can take a flying fuck at a roling donut  Huh

He was unhappy with Nuts
and called me a coward

Now he claims he paid back the money because he wanted to be nice
not because he had to

So I told him the german government offered to pay back my father for the failed
vacation of 1940-1944 about 50 years after the claim was in and about
5 years after my father died and that I no longer knew what to think of a
figurine packaged in a way it could not break and still arrive in 8 pieces

I think he shipped it broken ; but I cannot say so because that is libel
But the splinters of broken glass were outside three layers of bubble plastic

I rest my case ( and hope to get unaddicted to ebay in a hurry : I am going to go into
selfhypnosis and tell myself I loath ebay : ebay makes me sick : ebay is only for suckers :
do not push submit buttoms ; do not even look anymore ; forget ebay exists  ;
now I am going to wake up in 5.4.3.2.1 counts and will have forgotten ebay exists )

I gave the guy ample time to reply and his last answer is that I should be glad he paid back the insured statue and that I only loose the postage
So I gave him a negative feedback
Only the 7th or so in 7 years ebay
Really should have been nr 28 or so

Here is one of those coins saying
Gold I gave to protect and iron I took for honor
( they should have said lead in a firing squad)

The seller is a Suisse girl called Ernuesli
She call everything uncirculated unless it spend the war on the tracks of a panzer tank
She is very notorious with the cognicenti

I bought a cheap vicky sovereing from her and it never arrived and after 3 months
I was refunded
I bougth a double eagle MS64 from her and she shipped it in such a way customs
wanted 18% tax
Never ever again do I even bid on Erdnueslis beautifull rare uncirculated coins  Huh

It is a mistery to me she has such a good feedback the way she overates everything to
uncirculated and rare

Nobody knows what she looks like because she sells in Germany and she is Swisse
Her company is called Peanut.AG

Her good fortune is explained by the fact that 95% of the ebay buyers
don't know a pollished jeweller piece from a MS65 coin

ahaha

Certificate nr 1 and an horrendous price

What the seller ( littlewingdarlinggirl) does not know is that
certificates are allocated by luck of the draw
So the first coin minted can have nr 500 on the certificate
