Man is retired after 40 years of working and selling his 30 years of collecting coins Not satisfied money back He takes two weeks of vacation and warns that payment received after 24 octobre will only be seen 3 novembre I asked him what his shipment costs are to the US since he only quotes local Payment is no problem because every mainland european has a BIC and IBAN number and transfer is free of cost So you bid and if you win I will transfer him the money Since he was French I signed Auguste since only the French know that is a male name

Seller doesn't take paypal, which makes a transaction difficult, I can imagine he takes IBAN, but who in America does that?
BIC is bank identifier code IBAN is international bank account number Rules . You have to live in the european union , you have to have a bankaccount in euro so british only comply if they open a euro account : under those circumstances all european transfers in euro only cost the same as a transfer in the country of origin which in my case is zero since I pay a fee per month of 2.5 euro whatever I do .

Well we can negotiate the price afterwards but a virgin sacagawea untouched by greasy fingers and in an holder might be the deal but only if I am not getting more then I give because in my ignorance I think I could get that for ten to fifteen dollars plus mail if I tried Over here they come only goldplated or greasy and neither appeals to me PS paypal would be fine too PPS you other knightesses and knights don't make offers of Saca's cause I do not plan on a harem

I can probably manage an untouched sacagewea for you. ^^ Even if I have to go buy one and an airtite for it too. The pretty copper lion is worth that, and a bit more even.

I would not believe that those guys at the mint wear oxyen packs and the sulphur in the air would require controlled environment as well which I bet you they do not have . They probably do not even have a dust free environment . I saw a mosquito between the glasses of the front window of a car a long time ago . I wonder what a mosquito would look like coming out of the coinpress PS I will proof my Sackie by spraying shellack over it ( an old european custom )

Hurray! I received feedback from Fernand today! This means the payment has gone through, and my coin should be on the way before he leaves for his vacation. I do wish I could translate properly what he said, though. Transaction parfaite avec personne très sympathique. Merci. I can translate the words into English, but somehow I think part of the meaning gets lost. Mr. Auguste, I will pick out the Sac dollar Saturday morning, and make it the best one I can find. I will ship it out ASAP after that, as well. *bounces happily* Paraguay, 1/12 Real, copper. 1845. The country's first coin, KM 1.1. 1 of 2 coins struck in reales, decimalisation occurred in 1870.

EK, That's a striking design! Great style--and very nice grade! I really like the idiosyncrasies of this period, such as that "1/12" and the hand-punched look to the lettering--the positioning wanders a bit.
