Aw man.  August, after peeking at that pretty Louis XIV coin, I wandered off into the depths of Ebay Frances, and found something I like.   My French is definitely not up to par, so I don't know if I will bid on the coin or not.  Of course, in four days, the coin may not be so reasonably priced, either.   Oh, and it isn't gold, either.

Seller doesn't take paypal, which makes a transaction difficult, I can imagine he takes IBAN, but who in America does that?

BIC is bank identifier code
IBAN  is international bank account number

Rules . You have to live in the european union , you have to have a bankaccount in euro so british only comply if they open a euro account : under those circumstances all european transfers in euro only cost the same as a transfer in the country of origin which in my case is zero since I pay a fee per month of 2.5 euro whatever I do  .

Well we can negotiate the price afterwards but a virgin sacagawea untouched by greasy fingers and  in an holder might be the deal but

Over here they come only goldplated or greasy  and neither appeals to me

I would not believe that those guys at the mint wear oxyen packs  and the sulphur in the air would require controlled environment as well which I bet you they do not have . They probably do not even have a dust free environment .

That's a striking design! Great style--and very nice grade! I really like the idiosyncrasies of this period, such as that "1/12" and the hand-punched look to the lettering--the positioning wanders a bit.
