She took a blow to the right mammary(ok Howard Hughes), needs a bandage I am afraid.

BTW, the item from my worst ever, in over 11 years of being on eBay experience has finally arrived, and the items are nice.  But the seller, an auction house, are bungheads.  The auction was over a month ago, and the items only arrived today, after a protracted 16+ emails, 5+ calls exchange, whilst they misplaced my charge card, misplaced the items etc.  That coupled with an arrogant, "we are trying to please 500+ customers right now, can't you just be patient?" attitude earned them the marked distinction of my onliest ever negative feedback left for a seller on eBay.

eBay is biting the farm in my opin.  I have tired of selling on there for all the regs, paypoo etc. nonsense.  This otherwise "reputable" live auction house has gotten two negs in the past three days, one does wonders how many more shall be arriving to them thus?

Since a few weeks allover europe you can give a neutral and a negative and the vendor is blocked automatically from giving a retaliatory feedback
And a neutral is counted the same as a negative in the feedback score .
I had several emails from a very angry german I paid 22 Euro  Roll Eyes
He sold a silver coin and in a seperate auction the box and the certificate with worldwide delivery and a very complicated text only in german were he said that the pic was uncleaned ( meaning the coin ) So I did not take the rest of his convoluted text literally and got only a naked coin and gave his first in life neutral .
He squeeled like a stuck pig that he got a 1000 sales and this stupid effing belgian who does not understand german effed him and lost him his 100% score ( and he could not even retaliate )
I unloaded enough frustration to be satisfied for a while and gave a nice positive to the bank selling the Infante Marie Marguerite at melt covered in fingerprints  Cool

The vendor is blocked from leaving a negative, but they can leave a positive/negative, and seller "aboncon" has left lots and lots of them.  He gets away with it, because he is a "power pooper seller".  To do this you leave a positive, but the comments, like his, are "Girl bid and refused to pay etc."  He calls everybody "girl" he must be one of those repressed types that has problems with females.

I have just been informed by an Austrian ebayer that ebay has a new TRICK
If you choose Europe that includes England and England has to include PAYPALL
So she put only Austria and Switzerland and Germany
I asked I could bid and she said no problem but since she did not want paypal she no longer could put Europe  Huh

Some Germans will never learn
Selling foreign coins in this case Spanish coin to germans only brings less money

I will offer that given that I venture into eBay Netherlands and eBay Germany, I don't know that all sellers deliberately exclude foreign buyers - since I ask about shipping to the USA, and they will Cheesy  but I do not mind that they deliberately or accidentally exclude much of my competition for bids.  The worst country I find for excluding foreign bidders is England.  Sometimes when I am on eBay.uk I notice something like 40-50% of auctions have only the UK checked as a ship location.  Lately I have had to buy several banknotes from sellers in Germany and Netherlands because they have stuff I cannot seem to find anywhere else.  I have just purchased a couple of rare Danish banknotes this way.

Normally when I ask them in german and they know I write german they say of course I can bid.
But once I got a snide answer like what part of germany only I did not understand or if I had relatives in germany
I was much newer to ebay then . Now I would answer I had family in Nazi germany but that family was liberated by the americans so
I no longer qualify.

I've basically given up buying a coin there unless I personally know the seller or it's an unattributed rarity: misrepresentation is rife otherwise.
Ebay could improve things, but it seems their business model focuses on volume vs. transaction quality.

Gotta love all the epithets coined for paypal and ebay: feeBay, payfiend, preypal, etc. I just call eBay "coin toilet".  Wink

That's some gold Haiti coin!

If you are referring to the machete wielding woman
it is gold and Haiti has a different motive every year
So you could call it part of a series like Nuggets could be called part of a series

Last week I took a buy it now for a 25 000 won coin
Professional vendor refuses to deliver saying he made a mistake the coin was allready sold
By happenstance coin was 15% below melt
Gave him a nice negative and saw that was his second of the sort that month
Yesterday I got an email fromebay saying he reclaims the cost and asking me to confirm we agreed
I was very nice I sent a copy of the vendors german message and said NO way José

At least the seller of the 100 Korona emailed yesterday with sending information on the coin.  I was a bit edgy because I bought it at about 80% of melt.

My guess is that the seller is not that far into the coin, probably had for a while, because he has been slowly selling off large sized gold coins on eBay accd to his feedback over the last few months.  He appears to have honoured every sale.
