The hardest part of the sculpting is done.   Here is the digital "clay" sculpture in progress:

That's one mean overbite on the dragon. Must be inspired by The Simpsons.

Daniel you have been a busy man the last few hours. I do believe this will get some attention. When one thinks of those "Key Dates" which can take a lifetime to locate and purchase this is sooooooooo fitting. She has the key, which in my mind is the knowledge and finances to finally purchase the desire coin, but still faces the challenge of actually finding the desired coin, hence the dragon and treasure chest. The castle as we all know is our home and that is where we want to take the coin! WE will know what this medallion represents! This is good! Wink

The world is about to get a new dragon but only the KOTCT Knights and Knightesses can actually own and hold one!!! Wink

JUST AS SOON AS DANIEL LETS ME KNOW WHEN THE STRIKING CAN BEGIN WE WILL FORWARD OUR FINAL ORDER. THEN WE WILL START CALLING IN PAYMENTS TO FORWARD TO DANIEL. STILL TIME TO ORDER BUT THE END IS NEAR!

This medallion could also serve as a taxpayer symbol of revolt!

Daniel,
While not relevant to the design, I am interested in the material that the medallions come in.  Are they safe for long term storage, e.g., do they contain acids, pvc etc?  I'm concerned because I generally put my coins in a box never to be seen again.  Should I be putting them in 2x2s or someother inert containment?
