One of my early purchases when I started on my coin collection was the 'Evolution' series from the Perth Mint. The set consisted of 5 x 10 ounce coins. Finally there are worth more than what I paid for them.
Nice collections of notes and coins there - Just reminded me that I don't have any 3rd Reich coins in my collection as yet. Am starting back at 'A' with both the coins and notes (and maybe stamps) to try filling in the gaps, so hopefully won't be too long until I get to the 'G's'.
Thanks for showing us those notes, Scottishmoney - very nice! One of the things I love about collecting world notes and coins - there is always something else to look out for. Another is the fantastic art work.
We are still in middle of winter, but so far, have only had 1 day that really reminded me of winter - cold, wind and rain together (actually, I think that only lasted 2 hours). A couple of days that I had to remove ice from car windows before leaving for work, but otherwise, winter has been not too bad. A bit of a worry about our next summer though, as the weather man has just predicted an 'early, warmer than usual spring' - I guess that means we will be in for a long, hot summer.
OOps - I'm very sorry, Daniel ...... it was just a coincidence that my niece, Danielle phoned while I was writing that comment. And now, for some reason, it doesn't give me the option to correct my post.
