Beautifull medals came in the mail today. I think the dragon is stunning. My scanner does NOT do them justice, but here is the obverse of my silver medal:

Around 2800 miles each way......

Is that all? Sounds like a good road trip to me  Wink

Adam, I love any kind of WWII aircraft, and even modern military jet aircraft. Years ago I built for my daughter, when she was a little girl, a 1/48 scale P-51 Mustang and painted "Miss Sarah" on the engine cowling. She loved it, and I still have that plane today packed away in a box somewhere!   Smiley

Thats really neat. I have a drawing of a Corsair hanging on my wall. I'm a bit of an aviation buff myself.

Howz about pitting my F4U Corsair against your P38's?   Cool    LOL  Smiley

I love the Corsairs myself. But the P-38's are awesome too. And then of course everyone knows about the P-51  Smiley

Hey green18, what kind of airplane is that in your photo? Can't quite make it out. I love old planes!   Smiley  Smiley  Smiley

It is a small picture, but I think its a P-38 Lightning.

I personally will want at least one of these medals. I would also like to donate $20 towards striking medals for Gary's family.

Just wanted to make sure you got my order. I will send $43.00 to Terry some time in the next three days. $23.00 for my own medal and shipping, and $20 towards medals for Gary's family or whatever else it may be needed for.

Very impressive Nighthawk. I've always wanted a coin from the 1700's, but don't have any yet. I do have some ancients that are older of course. But I really want one with a date, from the 1700's. Thanks for sharing.

That's Jon Burke, apparently Nevol (Nancy) has already contacted him.

Ok. I PMed him back, and told him that if he has talked to Nancy she should be able to take care of it. And if he hasn't I'll put im in touch with either her or Terry.

Hello guys. A nephew of Gary's posted in this thread: http://www.cointalk.com/t99077/ over on cointalk. He is interested in some medals. I Pmed him telling him I was a member of KOTCT and that I could put him in touch  with someone that he could directly order some of the CoinCrusader memorial medals from.
