Those cheap old hobby tokens usually go right through customs. These are so old they had a dragon on them! Nice photo Paint Your Wagon! How does it feel to be Belgiums exclusive owner of such a medallion. Collectors from all over Europe would surely envy you if they only knew! Wink

Well I am not going to tell them  Cheesy

And I am still using a very good scanner ; too lazy to make photo's

Two Shadows......had a problem yesterday when box arrived.......my mother-in-law (89 years old) had taken ill and ambulance had been called.  She lives 1 hour away from us so we had to pack up and go to stay with her.

Had very little time to check anything.....just added a return address to back of packages and dropped off at post office on our way.

Hope all arrive to final destinations OK (I did not have time to check addresses).

As for the postage cost.......donation from me to KOTCT running funds as usual.

They certainly look good don't they.  Daniel is a true artist.

Here's hoping I know how to address a package for Australian post!

Hope all turned out with your mother-in-law?

And yes it is great to have a dragon in the house! Wink

Feel free to submit to any magazine you wish! Grin While I would agree it would be a great numismatic human interest story I don't know how the publications would feel. One thing is for certain there is NO group on the net like us! Wink

I have seen small articles on coin clubs issuing medals or wooden nickels before. I just don't know how to go about getting them to do that.

It is soooooooo good to know the Australian post found Triggersmob by the end of the month. That takes a world of stress off of all the U.S. Knights and Knightesses who were about to look at their medallions just for him. I do want Trigg to know....WE were really going to do it just for him!!! Grin

Merlin said the Dragon shall sleep in the Slovak Republic! Guess he knew what he was talking about.
Erik I am thrilled the package found its way to you as I had never sent a package to your country so I was worried about it being delivered. It is good to see that you have a trustworthy postal system that we all can count on as many countries do not.
I think you will find there are many good hearts inside these walls of KOTCT and two of them have spoken to you by way of this gift. There are millions of good people left in our world and we are all very fortunate to know a few of them here at KOTCT.
Please take the time to thank your mother and father for allowing us into your computer to share our passion for this hobby. And, as for the Knights who purchased your medallion, they have already been thanked in your posting above.

I have been playing with an online translation this morning and not getting exactly what I thought this phrase meant;

In Sulum Miles Militis Nos Fides

Would someone care to translate again for me as I really would like to see how far off I am!
