Welcome to a stroll down memory lane...
Looks a lot different, HUH?
Title: New Albums!! Post by: CoinCrusader42 on December 07, 2007, 12:27:32 PM Made the trip to my coin store today and found three new Dansco Albums waiting for me.
They are the One and Two Cent Pieces, the Five Cents, and the Pennys. So, tonight I will be filling albums, thanks to my Aussie friends. I still have on order, the One Dollar and Two Dollar albums. :) :) :) :) Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: CoinCrusader42 on December 08, 2007, 05:07:17 AM I just ordered an album for the 10 cent pieces, so I guess I now have the decimal series covered. All I have to do is fill the empty spaces.
I did't get as far as I thought I would last night, however the five cent album is well on its was to being completed. :) :) :) :) Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: ElleKitty on December 08, 2007, 06:01:06 AM ^_^ I ordered a Dansco album for Australian pennies. :D I'm so excited!
Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: CoinCrusader42 on December 08, 2007, 06:16:39 AM Kitty,
I'll work on my pennies tonight, but have very few. I don't think you or I will ever fill the 1930 slot. :) :) :) :) Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: ElleKitty on December 08, 2007, 06:21:38 AM I'm pretty sure that I won't, but I knew that going into the set. :D So, I think I can live with it. Right now my main concern is filling the 1925 slot! That one is going to be a bugger.
Can you list the pennies you do have, so maybe the rest of us can work on helping you with it? I know I've got dozens of spares on the large pennies. Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: CoinCrusader42 on December 08, 2007, 10:30:13 AM Thanks Kitty,
I may have a few more, but those I definitely have right now are: 1912 1927 1936 1939 1942 1951 1964 I certainly would be happy to pay postage on any that members might send me. :) :) :) :) Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: ElleKitty on December 08, 2007, 10:32:57 AM I have the following spare Aussie pennies. Some of them are due to the generosity of some of the forum members, and I somehow ended up with a spare one. The honourable thing to do is to pass it on to a Knight that needs them.
1915h 1916i 1919 1921 1922 1931 1933 1934 1935 1938 1941 1943 1943y. 1944 1944y. 1947 1948 1949 1950 1952 1955y. 1956 1958 1960 1961 1961y. 1962y. 1963y. Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: CoinCrusader42 on December 09, 2007, 02:25:49 PM Kitty,
I am so appreciative!! Thanks so much. Do you have my mailing address? I will plan on either paying postage, or sending you a coin in return, or both!! Thanks again. :) :) :) :) Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: ElleKitty on December 09, 2007, 02:32:32 PM Y'know, I don't know if I have your address or not. I -should- but I better make sure just in case. Sending a PM right now. :)

:) :) :) :) Title: Re: New Albums!! Post by: Goose on December 10, 2007, 11:33:42 PM At our last coin club meeting, someone gave me a Whitman 'Australian Type Collection-Silver Coins' folder. The folder has 3 pages, both obv & rev slide out plastic (To view both sides of coins in folder), is in fairly good condition, and is Whitman folder # 9528. The type of coins it holds is from Threepence (6) to Crown (1). Might anyone be interested in this folder? FREE.
