Found this "The Last Anzacs" $1, C mint, in the till at work yesterday. Looks like it's been circulating for a while. It is not a circulatin issue and only 126,000 minted. It's one I didn't have. Also found a U.N. 50 Anniversary 20 cent. They seem very scarce these days.

Just a point of interest. A clerk at my convenience store told me today that she had received Jackson Dollars from two different customers. So, they seem to be circulating -- at least a tiny bit.

Way to go Yass! Still to find one in circulation, the only circulating coin I have never found. How about a picture?

Way to go Yass! Still to find one in circulation, the only circulating coin I have never found. How about a picture? I couldn't find the USB connection for the camera this morning. Blamed the kids, the wife, the dogs, the cats, everyone. Found it in the boot of my car this evening in my coin sack not 5 minutes ago. Humble pie? I Love it. Have it often. Its a Yass thing I'll apologise to everyone tomorrow morning (I'm still at work and they're home in bed asleep) and take some happy snaps of the wavy tomorrow.

That's a fairly nice looking wavy! Considering it's 42 years old, it's better than both mine & they were bought. At least it only cost you 20¢.

Very good find Yass. I saw one for sale at the Melbourne coin fair in about the same condition for $575 I think it was.

For those of us lees-educated in Aussie errors, is the wave found on the #2? Or is it actually on the water lines or something else?

The wave is on the baseline of the 2 & is reflected in the water line directly above it, adjacent to the stem of the 2. Most 1966 20¢ have a level baseline.
1966 Wavy 2's are one of the key decimal varieties in Australia. Highly collectible.

For those less educated, the wavy line is actually the top edge of the bottom of the number 2:
