This fake is not nearly as good as the Sacagawea dollar from Latin America, this is a cast piece, in some sort of pewter like metal - has a dull thud when rolled etc.

Scroll over to see the quarter edge, curiously it appears as though it was dipped in some coppery coloured paint or something, to make the edge appear like the coin was a genuine sandwich compositioned piece, but after the paint wore off, you have a solid pewter looking coin.

The piece appears to have been made to deceive businesses etc.  It wouldn't seem logical to economically fake a quarter, but then again.. who knows what conditions made this piece possible.
