Real mystery.  Have been getting them from retail stores, convenience stores. and restaurants.

Each is as nice as the day in came from the mint.

Maybe a ploy by the Government to start circulating Half Dollars?

1954 Roosevelt Dime.

Really banged up.  No numismatic value.

Found in my pocket.  No idea which store it might have come from.

 

My Red Book is loaned out.

Just found a 2000 Proof Kennedy Half Dollar in a drawer.  Not silver.

My guess would be around $10 value.

Can anyone provide the value of the coin?

Not the first time the Red Book has made a Presidential Dollar mistake.  When they first were minted, the book had a column for "Silver."

Wish that hadn't been an error.

 

In my book, this year's President Dollars releases were labeled "2008."
