Welcome to a stroll down memory lane... Looks a lot different, HUH?

Title: Coin Dealers That Don't Pay Attention!

Picked these 2 Aussie 10 Cent pieces (1995 & 1997) up recently from a dealers "bargain bin", at 10 cents each. I look them up this morning in the SCWC 2009 edition, and notice that the 1995, (mintage of only 96,000) which was issued in Mint sets only, has a catalog value of $10 in Unc, and $15 in BU!!! The 1997 coin has a mintage of 5.7 million, but yet has a catalog value of $20 in Unc, and $30 in BU!!! NOTICE: I did not CHERRYPICK these coins. I purchased 3 other dates (1988, 1993, & 1998) only because they were all uncirculated, and because they were only 10 cents each! I guess his loss was my gain! LOL   ;D  ;D  ;D

I do this quite often.  Australian coinage is common in the bargain bins here in San Antonio, and I've found TWO of the 1972 five cent pieces out of them. :D
