Has anybody seen the proposed Mintage firures for the new Washington D.C. and Territorial Quarters.

I heard they may be relatively rare and worth saving as an investment.

Any information appreciated.

Well they are kind of hard to come by but........how long will the interest last with a new series of quarters starting again in 2010! If you haven't heard we will soon be seeing the beginning of 56 new quarters recognizing our federal parks and areas! Within 3 months after the turn of the year NO ONE will be looking for 2009 quarters. It is just human nature to seek out the new as the immediate past disappears very quickly. Personally I would grab a few rolls of these Lincoln cents and stash them back as the rolls are being busted open in record numbers looking for errors. Thats just my humble opinion at this time. Yes, I did buy rolls of Lincolns as most one year coins tend to disappear quickly. I just regret not buying more of the 2006 Canadian silver Wolf one half ounce bullion coins! Got a few but can't pay the asking price now!!!
