Nice coins, George.
I already have the 5 Rupee, thanks to you.
What I am most pleased about though, is seeing you back in the Castle.
Welcome back.

It's OK guys. I am not emotionally attached to it. As I have said before I am
not a big banknote collector and I feel it would be more appreciated in your hands.
I will send it over as part of the trade for the stamps. Joe you can have it then.
John, if you like, you can check out my collection and pick something else.

There are some that I would like to keep, but pick one and we'll see.
(Definitely not the First Aussie $10, they are for the kids)

Maybe Lions roamed Europe too, before being wiped out and left only in Africa.
Also don't forget that humans started in Africa and then spread to the rest of the world.
As for how many countries have Lions on their crest or flags, I wouldn't have a clue.

Singapore 1967, 50 Cents

The symbol of Singapore is the Merlion, half Lion and half Mermaid.
My useless piece of information for the day.

Not a problem, Joe.
Let's wait and see what John says.

Nice coins, Guys.
It seems that a similar rampant lion design was used on many coins.

Nice note Steve! I don't even have that one in my collection! LOL   Grin

It was one of the first I ever added to my collection.
It's not in very good condition, many folds and holes, but
I believe it might be a bit rare. If you can't find a better one
and you would like one, let me know and it's yours.

Just another way to see some of your coins.
I will post a pic of a coin and you must post one with either
the same date, same metal, or the same country, or same denomination or a similar design,
or anything else that relates the two coins.
Then the next person to post, must follow that new pic.

Ok here we go..

So to follow you need to post a pic of another bi-metallic coin, or one from Algeria, or any 2007 coin, or one with a cat on, or same denomination (i.e. 20, doesn't have to be Dinars).

Now show me the money.

I HOPE YOU FOUND THESE INTERESTING----DO ANY OF YOU OUTSIDE OF THE U.S. HAVE WW11 NOTES FROM YOUR COUNTRIES???

No, I am sorry, but I don't have any Aussie notes to share with you.
This one from Sarawak would have been circulating during the war though...

I don't think I am up to date though.
