Daniel I think, at this time, if I/We were to give you any instructions it would be "We want you to create the most beautiful design the world has ever seen. An award winner everyone on the planet would want in their collection. Let your mind go where its never gone before to find a masterpiece hidden in the depths of time. Art and beauty seems to be lost in the world of coinage we are now seeing. Lets give the world something to talk about! Just keep us posted as no matter what you come up with I am sure we can tie it to the KOTCT and coin collecting. You design it and we will create the appropriate description to match our needs. Not a doubt in my mind! Wink

And don't forget there can be two sides to this story. Both the obverse and reverse will be changed! The right design just might set the medallion collectors in the world on fire. Could be a very profitable venture for all involved? Wink

My thought for the 2010 design would be an old Wizard battling a skeleton army.

I like the idea. I bet you could do something amazing with it.

One thing is for certain at this time...Daniel has two sides to work with! I intend to be a patient man and wait for Daniel's surprise for 2010!  Wink

I like battling the skeletons theme as long as the wizard is kicking their butts. Skeletons and zombies remind me of politicians. Skeletons being what they call their "visions" and "ideas."

How about actual coin dealers--Lyman Low and Ed Frossard--having  a sword fight?  Cheesy Allegedly they really did have a fist fight once at an auction.

For those of you who might have missed it there is a close to finised design on page 6 of this thread. Also a huge thank you to all who have forwarded their payments for the 2009 medallions. We have set a payment deadline of March 25th at the latest. Hopefully we can wrap things up with the Moonlight Mint and move forward on the 2010 medallions. Again thank you to each member who took part in this late 2009 medallion quest. Again we have done the impossible.

Yes, the advancing skeletons would be blown to bits.   The skeletons would represent the destructive forces of corrupt banks.   The Wizard would represent sound economic principles.

I thought everyone would want to know the 63mm Pewter Medallions have BEEN STRUCK! Revceived word from Daniel Carr and the Moonlight Mint just today that the striking has begun with the 39mm medallions being readied at this time! Getting closer!!! Grin
