I have been in contact with Daniel Carr and given the approval to move forward with the 2009 which should be struck in Jan. of 2010 which means a Feb. delivery could be possible. After discussions with Daniel we have decided to eliminate serial numbering due to time constraints and additional costs. We are going to make every effort to shave costs where ever possible and keep this yearly medallion quest alive and strong. I will reassure each of you at this time that Daniel is prepared to continue with the 2010 medallion quest as quickly as we can wrap the 2009 quest up. (THERE COULD BE A SURPRISE HERE?)
It is imperative NOW that each and every member who wishes to received a 2009 medallion to post his/her wishes on this thread as our order will be initially based on what is done here. At this time we are at the $1,400 level which is far short of what will be needed to make this a success. There are members out there who may need to be given a heads up so feel free to drop them an email concerning our quest. Thank you all in advance for bringing another rarity into the world!!!

I added a second silver medallion to my first post, bringing my total to $120.
I wish I could buy more than that, but money is as always tight.

I will definitely take a proof silver. Most likely one copper medal as well, although I'm not sure which copper I will choose yet.
By the way, this means you can count me in for $60.00. I just haven't decided which type of copper I want yet.

one silver proof..........$40 one antiqued copper...$20 one pewter medallion..$20
For a total of..............$80.00
ADD ONE MORE ANTIQUED COPPER---THAT SHOULD BE $100.00--FOR 4 COINS--CORRECT?? TEMPLAR

Thanks Adam! Thanks ElleKitty. I think we all have a new understanding for TIGHT right now! Thanks Templar, I knew we could get that other $20 if we tried! Thanks Old Dan, I will put you down for a silver proof and please ship Willie to my address! I think we will be good friends!!! If my count is correct and you know me (brain dead) we are at $1,620 right now. Get ahold of all those Knights and Knightesses as we need their help again!

Rechecked all orders here, my list as above unchanged.

Each day we grow closer to an order which will pay for the engraving, sculpting and dies. I will be quite comfortable when we add about another $1,200 to the above list. Please keep in mind it was just a few short years ago, when the initial quest started, we were told it could NOT be done. Emails came from all over the world telling me/Gary/YOU to not waste our time. WE did not listen. Two years are under our belt and we are looking at 2009 and 2010 medallions. Do we still have what it takes?

Do we still have what it takes? I think we do! This thread has only been up for less than 2 days and we're over half way there already. I've got a list of all the Knights that bought Medals last year, and will PM any that haven't ordered 2009 ones as a gentle reminder, but will give them a few more days. I don't want to be too pushy!

My funds are low this year, so I may only be able to afford a 63mm pewter piece @ $20. Maybe update that later on.
