I can see right now I am in the wrong line of work! There is a great amount of money and fools out there just waiting to buy whatever I can create! What have I been thinking?

If it's only for gold coins, I'd have exactly 3 coins to put in it. Hardly worth it!

He says he tested the purse wire and it is 8 carat and worth 450 euro to melt what if it is only silver plated with 8 carat gold ? or worse A density measurement would be needed to determine but at 8 carat and the clasp 14 carat and the ruby and the diamonds that is not practical . So it can be anything
I would not put my coins in a metal purse even if it were real gold

So what is new ? If with a 10x led loupe in hand you cannot see the cleaning then it is not cleaned or retraining is needed A few months ago I bought two lucky angels off ebay france and both were cleaned and I complained I got as an answer from the vendor HE did not clean them ; so it was not HIS fault I gave two negative feedbacks and he considered that VERY HARSH treatment Everybody is out their to grab your money

I reckon that would depend on who you talk to. I see it used a lot. The Sheldon 70-point scale and the Official American Numismatic Association Grading Standards for U.S. Coins make no note of such a grade. So I would say no Brilliant Uncirculated is not a grade. I'm sure some would disagree.

Through trial and error me and my coindealing friend established that FDC ( fleur de coin) should be MS65 if the vendor is honest . BU however is allover the place from MS60 to MS64 I have the impression. So I am amazed NGC got away with a BU which means zip apart that it hopefully is uncirculated

I understand NGC grading on French coins less and less Cathy from whom I bought many times has a series coffins This is one of the first time in 7 years that I see the grade MS61 handed out so many times Normally it is MS60 for a really scarred bagmarked coin or MS62 for a somewhat better specimen Here those MS61 look better (if they are really MS because coins that old really retone) On the other hand the AU coins look way overgraded . The AU55 is low XF in my opinion http://shop.ebay.fr/cathy92400/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340
