Hey guys! I need help again! I've owned this coin for about 3 years now, and still can't fully identify it. I cannot find this coin in any catalog I own.  The only clues I have are: Burgundy, Dijon. Mayor Jean Jacquinot, 1600 A.D. Arms of Dijon.  F.9984. C.2428 Fine+, light brown patina. The coin is gold in color, and slightly smaller than a U.S. half dollar in diameter. Any help to put this mystery to rest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!  Smiley

John, that's a yellow bronze jeton from Burgundy (Bourgogne), the F.9984 # refers to the "Feuardent" collection catalog.

Here's an old sale from CGB (the two last ones on F and VF respectivily- prices still in FRF), you'll find some more data in there:
