Welcome to a stroll down memory lane... Looks a lot different, HUH?

Title: 2009 roo dollar in circulation
Post by: gregk on December 05, 2009, 05:16:54 PM
Has any one seen these yet?  I was doing my weekly change examination and found one (I have few of the pensioner $1).  I called the Mint and apparently they are in circulation.  In addition, I have seen a few 2009 20s and 50s.

2009 Roos have been around for a fair while now.  I'm not keeping them any more, too many to keep all of them. I only have 1 Aged Pension from circulation so far.

20¢ & 50¢ have only just started turning up, I have 3 or 4 of each so far.  No sign of 10¢ or 5¢ yet.

I've come across about 10 aged pension $1s in change so far, but only 1 2009 MOR

It would appear that the MOR's were distributed in the North & West, and the Aged Pension were distributed in the South.   :-\

From memory, the MOR's were found in WA long before anywhere else saw them. There've been several reports of the 20¢ & 50¢ on the Eastern seaboard so far, can't recall if anyone in WA has reported finding any yet.  ???
