John, you must have a wonderful banknote collection.
How many do you have?
(you don't have to answer that, if you don't want to).

Steve, I probably have about 2,500 to 3,000 different world banknotes in my collection. Someday I hope to sit down and count them, just to know exactly how many I do have. My coin collection is probably close to 10,000 or so coins from around the world.   Smiley

You make me feel like a newbie.
I only have about 100 notes, but then  I don't go out of my way to collect them.
My coin collection is nearly at 4000.

The Germans produced great banknotes.   I do not collect all of them but I do collect coins and banknotes from the NAZI era.

Barry, I am also big into the Third Reich stuff, coins, paper money, stamps, covers, postcards, etc.. The crown of my collection thus far has to be a genuine Luftwaffe armband that I purchased from a dealer about 2 years ago. I paid $70 for it, and it is in excellent condition. I also have a German bond from the Nazi era that I paid $80 for about 4 years ago, and it is in mint condition!   Smiley

Yes I was very happy to obtain them.

How about showing some of your Nazi notes here, John......I could check to see if I have one.

Steve, is this piece of paper you show very small in size, like about 1-1/2" X 1" or so? If it is, it is probably a coupon from a bond. Using the Google translator, some phrases I typed in German came out something like this:  Six month interest rates payable; National Debt Office; Promisorry note; Bond of the German Empire.  I wish I knew German a little better. But I think it is some sort of bond coupon. Hope this helps.   Smiley
