Nice collection Nighthawk, i dont collect these and actually know nothing about them. When you say WWII coins, stamps...etc, what do you mean by that? Do you mean anything issued or minted in 1945?

This note is stirring, it is from the fascist invasion of Ukraine: As if getting treated like 3rd class citizens by Russians wasn't enough, then the fascists from Germany came in and laid ruin to the country. Even though most of the people of Ukraine then were not literate in German, notice that German language is primary language on this note, and Ukrainian only gets two lines on reverse.

But fascist perfidy was not limited to Ukraine, they even performed it by invading Austria and stealing their banknotes designs: This design started out as a 100 Schilling note for Austria to be released in 1938-9, the fascists stole the design for themselves and put the Austrian fraulein on their 20 RM note. Curiously this note did not circulate as much as the German design of 1929, which was still printed until 1945.

But Austria got the last laugh Their fraulein returned, a lovely note from 1947. Notice the similarities of this note and the stolen design German note?

The fascists helped themselves to Belgium in May 1940: But in Belgium the National Bank still issued their old designs.

Meanwhile the Belgian Congo was a free zone, from fascist occupation: With a lovely note printed by Waterlow and Sons in London.

Czechoslovakia was dismembered by the fascists in 1938, after Chamberlain and France sold them out for a false peace: This design was originally prepared ca. 1937-8 for the Czechoslovak central bank, but not used because of the fascists helping themselves to Czechoslovakia. It was re-done in 1946, but the new socialists-communists took exception to the Phrygian cap on the lovely Miss. So this design was never released.

France got the fascists shaft in early 1940, with the fascists driving into France from Belgium - beyond the Maginot line that France pinned all her hopes on: The onset of the war for France saw the BdF printing huge numbers of notes to fund the conflict. This note was issued in October 1939.

Greece was invaded by Italy, mighty Italy. Greece had not much of a standing army, hardly any armour, aircraft etc. But the Greeks fought bravely, and incredibly pushed the Italians back deep into Albania from where they had invaded. So the Italian fascists, getting their bums burned by the Greeks had to call in the German fascists to come in and clean the Greeks clocks. These lovely notes were printed by Waterlow and Sons in London, and most never made it to Greece before the fascist swines subdued the country finally.
