They call the the Bicentenary "Polymer" Commemorative note and it was only issued in 1988.  Signatures of Johnston and Fraser.

There were 2 issues as there was a problem with the first release.  This note (AB21) is part of the second release.

Another great aussie Banknote. This $50 Dollar note has the signatures of Johnston and Fraser and this series was released in 1983 until 1989.

The Vatican has issued them as well.  I have a number of bi-metallic coins from around the world.

Some are better than others but there are some very nice coins around.

You do not see Proof coins in circulation but you can see uncirculated sets broken open and the individual coins sold or spent.

Just as long as they do not run out before you buy.

I always get mine quick just in case. (Australian Mint Sets)

Nice note but we do not have a $1 note anymore just $1 coins.

This note signed by Johnston and Stone was first released in 1982 and was the last circulated before the $1 coins took over.   The last prefix for this series was DPS.

Hope you do not have any trouble with Customs and Quarantine.

I thought the import of Koala's was illegal.
