I've heard about how very dangerous those Canadian numismatists can be!

Towing crews and police were still at the crash scene Friday afternoon, after a long night guarding the precious cargo from potential looters or unscrupulous numismatists.

I have picked up some of the scout PNCs and first day stamp covers with the cloth badge on it. First day covers are limited edition. If aussies are having trouble finding theses at your local post office let me know ASAP.
Cant wait to see those $1 coins floating around.

tiddyathome,

Do you still have one spare that I could buy?  I would be very grateful.

I had a little money in the budget left to play with, and ended up getting my first bust half:

AdamL,

I am sooooo jealous!  My ambition is to buy a bust half one day.  Well done!

NumisMatty,

The first is a three lines script. E.I.C. Bengal Presidency, year 19. Mushidabad half-rupee.
The third is a full brockage Indian rupee.  I'm not sure what year it is.  But I love it!
Your 1901 Rupee is absolutely beautiful, Matty!  It is a really gorgeous coin!   Smiley Smiley Smiley

The 1912 and 1915 penny can also be found with an "H" mint-mark for Heaton Mint in Birmingham.
For the 1916, 1917, and 1918 pennies, the "I" mint-mark is for Calcutta, India, not Bombay, India.
For pennies dated before 1937, a dot below the scroll is for Melbourne, and a dot above is for Sydney.

Perth Mint "Y." mint-mark

Perth Mint "A." mint-mark

Melbourne Mint no mint-mark

London Mint "PL" mint-mark

Unfortunately I don't have any "I" or "K.G" mint-marks, so I will try to find a picture of them through Cruzi's web site.
