I managed to see a very poor picture of the new 2010 Lincoln Cent obverse one day last week and all I can say is "It is apparent the Mint still lacks the ability to create designs that could say something about the U.S. and its people. It seems we are going back to the 1800's as the new reverse will be a shield design which absolutely LACKS any resemblence of art, beauty or history in my mind. Very boring design for our longest running Lincoln Cent. Where is my buffalo when I need him!!! A rear end view would have been better than this! Grin

Sorry I don't have a photo!

It would be nice to see the U.S. get away from dead presidents, shields, eagles, flags, etc.
Let's see what else you have.

The USA is going the way of the Roman Empire, worshiping gods of the past and forgetting the present.

I think we will soon find out the world has been worshipping quite a few other things the Roman Empire started and those are about to fail as well. Mankind is walking head on into realities they never dreamed and, even though the proof has been right before their eyes throughout recorded history, it is going to be like one darn big bomb going off. We are but a speck of dust in a very big dust storm which we have failed to see!

Can't see the forest for the trees! Cry

I just bought 2006 gold plated Royal Visit 50 Cent pieces set of 50 cent pieces.  Some of the coins the RAM make are absolutely stunning. I will try and post a photograph as the coins are extraordinary in design and finish.  Mintage only 7,500.

Links don't work for some reason, so go here - http://www.ramint.gov.au/designs/ram-designs/
