I would be interested in learning how many KOTCT collectors plan to start a set of the new "America's Beautiful National Parks" Quarters.

I have started sets for all the new U.S. coins issued recently, and even bought nice Dansco Albums to house them.

Due to economics and the apparent fact we are being used more and more as cash cows by the Government, I'm not so sure I'll pursue this collection.  But, I'll probably give in once the coins start to be minted.

Gary, I'm not much into U.S. coins like I used to be, but I will still collect them in UNC. I can get the latest coins from a dealer friend of mine as long as they are out there. He used to charge me .35 each for UNC State quarters, now, because they cost him more to get, he has had to raise the price to .50 ea. I get the newest presidential $$$ for $1.25 ea. Also get the latest Canadian issues in UNC when they become available.  Smiley

I HAVE THOUGHT IT OVER AND I DON'T THINK I AM GOING TO GO AFTER THE NEW QUARTERS---THE MINT KEEPS ADDING TO THEIR PROGRAMS AND IT IS GETTING HARDER TO COLLECT THEM ALL---THIS YEARS UNCIRCULATED P AND D SETS TOGETHER EQUALED 36 COINS--JUST NOT WORTH IT

I've been collecting the States and Territories. And I love our national parks. But it just seems like too much.

Yeah, I'm going to assemble a set. I already have to cut up a mint set each year to keep every other series current so I may as well.

There's an awful lot of coins out there still.

I have to admit I'm not that overly excited about these things.  Trying to collect all the states was horrifying enough for me!

I collected the State Quarters and the Territory quarters but am going to stop there.

Just have to obtain the ones I am missing and that's it.

No National Parks for me.

I just have the State quarters, no territories.
I won't collect the parks either.

I will be collecting the Parks program as I love coins that depict things other than politicians or people.   Roll Eyes

I have almost a complete collection of the State Quarters, and well over half of the Territory Quarters so far.

Nature will always appeal to me!  Wink

Oh how I love an outdoors woman!!! Grin  I will probably keep an eye peeled for designs that I like and then go after the silver "S" Mint Marked quarters which will have to be removed from proof sets. I am fond of silver, as many of you know, but don't want to start another 10 year program.

I have a friend (non collector) who claims he saw a 2010 Quarter the other day.

Is that possible?  Anybody else seen one?
