Does anyone know when the next Territorial Quarter is due to be released?

I have only found a grand total of two DC Quarters in circulation.  I have also asked friends, and most of them say they haven't seen a single one.

Also, on the "scarce" theme, I'm still waiting to find a 2009 Lincoln Cent.

I got two of the DC quarters in change sometime back, don't even remember exactly when.  I am not even interested in them frankly.

The Puerto Rico quarter should be out already and they are minting the Guam currently, IIRC.

I'm in the same boat. The only 2009 coins I've found so far are the Presidential Dollars (out of the P.O. stamp machine) and 2 D.C. Quarters (1 was just given to me last night by my son in law). I usually find new Cents early in the year, but not this year. I had to break down and get them from the Mint....

There's an awful lot of coins out there still.

I have a roll of the DC quarters, D mint, and I have a single, lone Puerto Rico quarter, also D mint.  I've got most of a roll of the lincoln cent with the log cabin, D mint.  All coins came from circulation.

My husband brings them home from work at his restaurant.

I could spare a few, but I'd really like to keep most of them.

I would appreciate a DC Quarter but only if you're planning on opening the roll.  Wink

Following on from the success of the "State quarters" series, which finished last year, this year America is issuing a six-coin "mini-series" of different quarters for six of America's "non-states": the District of Columbia (the federal territory where the capital city Washington is located) and five island territories: Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa. The first two territories are in the Caribbean, the latter three are in the Pacific Ocean.

It appears now that the territorial quarters will be the KEEPERS of the whole statehood series. They are scarce and very high priced compared to the release cost of the statehood quarters. Of course the bulk of them are going to the islands being commemorated so few are seeing circulation in the states. We also have to keep in mind the U.S. Mint is cutting production of all coinage about 65% or the remainder of the year. Could get interesting but I still am not interested in clad coinage! Probably a mistake on my part!

Hey Kitty....I would not mind one for my collection, if you have one to spare.

You can send Nevol's and mine together to save postage.....we will work it out when they arrive.

Let me know the cost when known.   Many thanks

I have increased my DC Quarter total to three coins.

Still no 2009 Lincoln Cents.

Local banks say they are expecting some, but have none at this time.

No Puerto Rico Quarters.  Period.

I am not collecting any of these, just need some for the grandkids.
